This wonderful tallit and tefillin set was one I refurbished. This Yemmenite tallit was"hidden" twice, once in WW I and again in WWII. The owner perished in the Shoah. I bought it from an antiquities dealer and created the custom wings, tzit tzit and bags. It made a wonderful custom birthday gift. It is my favorite piece to date.

The wings on the tallit were the Hebrew letter Chai, meaning life. I thought is particularly appropriate, for after being Hidden for so long, this 100 year old tallit was living again.

The tefillin were still kosher and in excellent condition.
The tallit bag with a commemorative birthdate.
This beautiful tallit and bag were for ordered for a bat mitzvah. Early 2008

In January of 2007, I was asked to make a christening gown for our goddaughter Emily who lives in Baltimore.

Let me kvell for a moment - isn't she just the cutest thing?

Emily's gown was a vintage style with a cotton slip, organza underskirt and pink organza embroidered with white butterflies. Three types of lace were used on the dress and bonnet.
In 2005, I made quilts for Emily's two older brothers. Oldest brother Jon's quilt has a hunting theme with plaid squares where bears are fishing in canoes.

Second brother Ryan's quilt has a soccer theme.

This quilt and a matching bed pillow won a 2nd place ribbon at the 2005 Clark County fair in Vancouver, WA for a 'lovely gift and presentation'.

Sometimes, I get custom orders from friends who have businesses. This order of neck pillows was for a friend of mine who is a colon hydrotherapist in Battle Ground, WA. At the same time, I also did cushions for her therapy tables .
